Psychological assessment involves the integration of information from multiple sources, such as psychological tests, observations, personal and medical history, and descriptions of current symptoms to determine the presence of an emotional or behavioral condition (e.g., depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder or ADHD, etc.). Data is compiled into a psychological report that can be used for disability documentation or for development of a treatment plan.
Private psychological services, as defined by
22 TAC 465.1(10) are provided by Licensed Psychologists.
All of our psychologists are licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
Important Note: Texas public schools utilize Full and Individual Evaluations, which may include psychological assessment, to establish special education criteria for all disability condition categories. Public schools provide this testing free of charge. Please contact your local public school district for more information.
